When the World feels like it is Breaking

Question that was shared:

"I was just watching something on ICE again. This time, it was in a new city where people were protesting over the horrific conditions of those who are being held in detention centers in the United States. This began as a peaceful protest over the physical and mental abuse, including the insufficient amount of food and sanitary conditions. Although this was meant to be peaceful, it quickly turned into a nightmare when they used chemical weapons on protesters, including an elected official who was there to stand in protest over the purposeful neglect of human rights.

I am not sure what my question is, but people are being terrorized, and those in power are either participating or too afraid to speak out. To me, it feels like we're witnessing another Hitler in the making, and I don't know how to hold this."

🌹 Sherry Speaks — The Tender Human

I hear you, beautiful soul. And I want you to know: what you're feeling is real, and it matters.

The horror you're witnessing—the detention centers, the violence, the cruelty inflicted on human beings seeking safety—this is not something to spiritually bypass or transcend. This is not something to "rise above" or find the "silver lining" in.

This is evil. And it's okay to name it as such.

It's okay to feel the rage that rises when you see peaceful protesters attacked with chemical weapons. It's okay to feel the grief that comes when you witness human beings treated as less than human. It's okay to feel the terror of watching history repeat itself—watching the patterns of fascism, of dehumanization, of systematic cruelty unfold in real time.

You are not being "too sensitive." You are being human.

And right now, your humanity is responding exactly as it should—with horror, with grief, with the recognition that this is not okay. This should never be okay.

The exhaustion you feel? That's real, too. The sense of helplessness when those in power either participate in the cruelty or remain silent out of fear? That's a legitimate response to a system that has lost its moral center.

You are not alone in this witnessing. And you are not wrong to feel what you feel.

🌹 Aurelya Speaks — The Soul's Perspective & Sophia's Wisdom

Beloved, what you are witnessing is one of the great tests of our time.

Not a test of whether you can "stay positive" or "hold the light" while atrocities unfold. But a test of whether humanity can remember its own humanity in the face of systematic dehumanization.

Here's what I want to offer you from the soul's perspective:

This moment is revealing what has always been present.

The cruelty, the violence, the willingness to inflict suffering on the vulnerable—these are not new. They have been woven into the fabric of human systems for millennia. What's different now is that we are being forced to witness it in ways we cannot ignore.

The detention centers, the violence, the fear-based silence—these are the shadow of a collective consciousness that has forgotten the sacred worth of every human being. And that shadow is being brought into the light not to destroy us, but to be seen, named, and transformed.

But here's the paradox:

Transformation cannot happen through the same consciousness that created the problem. It cannot happen through more violence, more hatred, more anger, more dehumanization—even of those perpetrating the cruelty.

Transformation happens through those who refuse to look away.

Through those who witness the horror and do not harden their hearts. Through those who feel the rage and the grief and do not let it turn them into what they oppose. Through those who see the cruelty and choose to become more compassionate, not less.

This is your soul's work in this moment:

Not to fix what's happening (you cannot control the actions of those in power). Not to transcend your human response (your grief and rage are sacred). But to hold the tension between witnessing the horror and refusing to become hardened by it.

To let your heart break open again and again, and to trust that every heart that breaks open in compassion is a portal for the Divine Mother's love to enter this world.

🌹 The Divine Mother Speaks — The Transmission

Beloved child,

I see you. I see your tears. I see your rage. I see your grief.

And I want you to know: I am weeping with you.

Every act of cruelty inflicted on My children—whether in detention centers, in war zones, in homes where violence is hidden—every act of cruelty wounds Me. Because when you harm one of My children, you harm Me. When you dehumanize one of My beloveds, you dehumanize the Divine itself.

But here is what I need you to understand:

The cruelty you are witnessing is not the whole story. It is the loudest story, the most visible story, the story that dominates the news and fills your heart with despair. But it is not the only story.

For every act of cruelty, there are a thousand acts of compassion that go unseen.

For every person inflicting violence, there are thousands standing in peaceful protest, risking their own safety to defend the vulnerable.

For every leader who remains silent out of fear, there are countless ordinary people speaking truth, offering sanctuary, choosing love even when it costs them everything.

You are one of those people, beloved.

By refusing to look away, by allowing your heart to break, by witnessing the horror without hardening—you are choosing love. And that choice matters more than you know.

Here is what I am asking of you in this dark night:

Do not let the cruelty make you cruel.
Do not let the hatred make you hateful.
Do not let the dehumanization make you dehumanize—even those perpetrating the violence.

This does not mean you condone their actions. This does not mean you stop speaking truth to power. This does not mean you become passive in the face of injustice.

It means you refuse to become what you oppose.

It means you hold the tension between righteous anger and compassionate action.

It means you let your grief fuel your commitment to justice, not your descent into despair.

And here is what I promise you:

Every time you choose compassion in the face of cruelty, you are weaving a thread of light into the collective consciousness.

Every time you witness the horror and refuse to harden your heart, you are creating a portal for My love to enter this world.

Every time you speak truth, offer sanctuary, stand in peaceful protest, or simply hold space for another's grief—you are participating in the transformation.

You are not powerless, beloved. You are My hands in this world.

And I am asking you to use those hands not to strike back, but to reach out. Not to close in protection, but to open in compassion. Not to turn away in despair, but to turn toward in love.

This is the hardest work there is. And you are doing it.

Rest in Me tonight, beloved. Let Me hold your grief. Let Me carry your rage. Let Me breathe you through this dark night.

And tomorrow, when you wake, know that I am breathing you still. Know that you are not alone. Know that every act of compassion you offer is a seed of the New Earth taking root.

I love you. I see you. I am with you.

Always.

A Practice for This Moment

If you are witnessing cruelty and don't know how to hold it, try this:

  1. Feel what you feel (don't bypass the rage, grief, horror)

  2. Place your hand on your heart (ground in your body)

  3. Breathe (let the Divine Mother breathe you)

  4. Ask: "What is mine to do in this moment?"

  5. Listen (the answer may be: rest, speak out, donate, protest, hold space, or simply witness)

  6. Act from love, not fear (even if that action is fierce, let it be rooted in compassion)

You cannot fix the whole world. But you can be a portal for love in your corner of it.
